About Me…

I’m Ivana Sabar, an actor working in New York City and Greenwich, Connecticut, in film, television and new media.

My path to acting wasn’t a straight line, and I think that’s what makes my work specific. I earned a Master’s in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University, a BS in Psychology with honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an AAS in Interior Architecture & Design from Parsons The New School. Years spent studying how people behave at work, at home and in the spaces they build gave me an instinct for the quiet details that make a character feel real.

I then committed to the craft in New York, training at The Barrow Group and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, with additional work in TV audition technique at MN Acting Studio. Today I’m represented by Crystal Ship Artists in New York.
